A hands-on encounter with NFTs on screen

Shinsegae Centum City's first NFT festival brought multiple NFT projects together. KNOVCOMPILE connected the physical buttons in the METAKONGZ display to screen-switching software.

In the B2 Central Plaza connecting the department store and Centum City Mall, two devices sit inside the METAKONGZ entrance. Visitors view the screens and participate using the red buttons below.

An experience that starts with a button

One press changes the screen

When a visitor presses the button, the display switches to another NFT image. A simple interaction links a hand movement to an immediate visual change.

What KNOVCOMPILE built

Turning a button press into an artwork change

We built a controller that reads physical button presses and software that switches video sources, connecting hardware and software so visitors' actions reach the exhibition display.

Hands-on hardware

The large button in front of the screen detects a press and sends a control signal.
