On the flagship’s first floor,
four machines face one another

adidas Brand Flagship Seoul opened with SPORTS FORTUNE, a sports-game take on New Year fortunes. Two machines stood along each of two facing graphic walls in the first-floor multipurpose space, while the LED floor between them alternated track, court and character scenes. KNOVCOMPILE planned and developed the experience system running across all four machines. The emblem customization app, running arcade game, fortune card printing and SMS deliveryform one continuous game experience.

How the experience unfolds

Your birth date determines
your zodiac emblem

Choose Korean or English on the touchscreen, consent to personal information collection, and enter a nickname of up to five Latin letters, birth date and phone number. International visitors enter an email address instead of a phone number. The birth date determines one of twelve zodiac characters, then visitors choose an emblem background, trophy and flag to complete their design.

Your birth date becomes a character,
and your choices become the emblem on your card.

Running arcade game

The more you press,
the faster your zodiac character runs

Choose from two modes: race alone against the computer or select a two-player match to pair with another participant. After the 3–2–1 countdown, each button press moves your character forward—the faster you press, the faster it runs. Cross the finish line first and GOAL appears with the winner and finishing time.

Fortune card printing · SMS delivery

Place your palm to print
your 2023 fortune card

After the race, follow the screen’s instructions and place your palm on it. A fortune card prints immediately from the machine. It shows your nickname and emblem on the front, and your zodiac’s 2023 fortune on the back. Press SEND to receive the card image by SMS as well. Entered participant information was backed up separately for operations.
