Adding scenes of light to a journey of renewal

LIFE OASIS 2.0 is an immersive exhibition centered on LANEIGE's theme of a new beginning through renewal. KNOVCOMPILE directed the spatial lighting, moving-light control and light sequences set to music.

Lighting layout and space

Designing where the light takes shape

We placed lights along both sides of the long space and designed the angles and heights of opposing beams. Light from multiple directions overlaps to reveal the tunnel's depth and the center of the space.

Filling the first scene with blue light

Blue light surrounds the passage, punctuated by repeating linear fixtures. Visitors move through this light-filled space and into the exhibition's atmosphere.

Moving light reshapes the space

Beams rise from the floor, cross and spread. Their direction, color and brightness change with the music, creating different scenes of renewal within the same space.

Six themes, six rhythms of light

Rest, Positivity, Being Yourself, Challenge, Love and Passion. Each theme changes the space through its own music and lighting sequence. Turn on the video's sound to experience how light and music work together.

Direction and control

Timing light to the music

We controlled direction, brightness and color so the moving lights formed a continuous scene. Individual fixture movements combine to create a space of light that narrows and expands.
