<DEPLETED>는 PROJECT EMERGE의 두 번째 시리즈로, 쉽게 소비하고 버리는 시대에 대한 고찰을 이어갑니다. 우리는 화성시의 멈춰선 폐기물 탱크로리 앞에서, '고갈(Depleted)'을 단순한 '끝'이 아닌 '재생을 위한 비움'으로 재정의합니다. 연료로서의 기능은 소멸했지만, 작품은 그 빈 공간을 빛과 소리로 재조합하여 새로운 예술적 생명력을 부여합니다. 이는 버려진 자원 속에서 '아직 발견되지 않은 가능성'을 탐구하는 과정을 넘어, 소모된 것들이 어떻게 새로운 가치로 순환될 수 있는지를 증명하는 실험입니다. Standing before a defunct waste tank lorry in Hwaseong, we redefine 'Depletion' not as an absolute 'end,' but as a void ready for regeneration. Though its function as fuel has ceased, the work recombines the empty space with light and sound, imbuing it with new artistic vitality. Beyond exploring 'possibilities yet to be found' in discarded resources, this piece is an experiment proving how exhausted elements can circulate into new values.
